We recognise that the prospect of consulting a psychologist may feel overwhelming. The Psychology Talk offers a modern, personalised, and kind approach to enhancing your mental wellbeing.
Working with The Psychology Talk will be a modern, personalised and kind approach to your wellbeing. Your first appointment is about understanding you and your history better so we will focus on information gathering. You will also be provided with some initial tools to help manage your symptoms before your next appointment and you will be provided the opportunity to discuss any questions you have and provide feedback. From there we develop a plan for ongoing appointments and confirm what your desired outcome is, as well as treatment options. We understand that seeing a psychologist can be overwhelming, and it is very normal to feel nervous and even anxious. As much as possible we will ensure a smooth and comfortable process for you.
